THE STONE AGE
At the beginning of time when man walked the earth, his first tools were made from stone. At times they would have had to mine for the stones that they'd wanted and as <geologists> the precious stones lying around on the surface, would not have gone unnoticed. We can only speculate that these expert stone hunters recognized the beneficial value associated with these different types of stones, as future civilizations throughout the ages have acknowledged their benefits. Stones have been swallowed whole or crushed into powder to make a drink. They were sewn into clothing to be next to a certain part of the body, also they were fashioned into jewellery to give the owner added powers. Ornaments have been decorated with stones and the earliest that I have was two million years old, representing a pregnant woman made out of jade. Which is quite appropriate since green corresponds to growth. Therefore it's hard to dismiss thousands of years of belief in the power of stones to heal and to bring their owners good fortune. Stones can help people on a physical or mental level when there is an imbalance, disorder or chaos. When you think of the million of years that stones have been laying around, absorbing the atomic energy radiated by the sun, they have absorbed by virtue of their color a vibrational energy that can restore equilibrium and vitality. I believe that colors represent energy frequencies. Each color corresponds to the functions of our bodies and by introducing extra, we can increase our physical and mental powers. Recent history tells me that I am on the right track when I consider Victorian scholars who held amethyst in high esteem and their efforts to replicate the color PURPLE led directly to the creation of the pharmaceutical industry. The discovery of germs and the cure of the diseases caused by these microorganisms, was no trick of light but the result of thousands of years of interest and fascination
